Our story
A handful of sarees,
each one held by hand.
Aachol Sarees began in the slow hours after my child was born, with a feeding pillow on my lap and a notebook of weaver contacts I had been collecting for years.

Aachol is the loose end of the saree. The part a mother uses to wipe a tiny face, cradle a sleepy baby, hold a handful of sweets at a temple. It felt right.
Each piece is one I have actually held, chosen because I would wear it myself, and photographed in the light coming through my window. There is no warehouse, no buying team. Just a small shop growing slowly between feeds and weaver calls.
If you have a question about a piece, or want a drape video, write to me on WhatsApp. Most days I reply with a baby on my hip.
